Michael Vey: Prisoner of Cell 25
By: Richard Paul Evans 4 Stars Genre: Fiction, Science-Fiction Dylan B 8th Grade “Michael Vey” is a book written by Richard Paul Evans about a small amount of children that have a special ability. These children have an extra large amount of electricity flowing through their veins. When Michael finds out about this, he is taken to a facility where he learns his and the other kids’ powers. He can electrocute other people, a kid named Zeus ( Pun heavily intended ) can throw lightning, and another can use electro-location to see through anything. He finds out the professor who is watching over them intends to use their powers for evil and all of the kids escape. The theme of “Michael Vey” is that power can corrupt people. I liked this book because it has a good story that flows well.
